I wrapped a Van Cleef and Arpels necklace today, and I have reason to believe that it is valued at somewhere around $[a college education]. Holy shit. Seriously, it was easily $50,000 worth of jewelry in my hands. Not to criticize, but I have trouble understanding such gross expenditure on a piece of jewelry like that. It didn't seem timeless.
In other news, I decided to take a leisurely walk around my parents' neighborhood tonight after eating some not-so-nutritious (SHIT) food, and it was at the precise moment of stepping onto the street that Mother Nature began to spit what meteorologists call "a wintry mix" at me. Is She trying to tell me that fresh air is overrated? Because, a lot of times, I really don't need convincing.
