I have to figure out a way to protect my intellectual property-- there are other sites, other blogs that are quoting me or lifting my entries. On the real. My recipe for that pasta dish was on a Bulgarian or Hungarian cooking site, translating into English. I totally swear. I'm NOT INTO IT. I may have to change the privacy settings on this. I'll let you know.
So, I can't sleep. I was in bed, lights out, by 1am. At 4am, I decided to stop pretending that I was going to actually get any sleeping done, so I've been sitting in my parents' living room (freezing my ass off), drinking peppermint tea, and trying to move forward on a major writing project that I haven't touched in months. My progress on the project: I re-read it and changed one character note. Fuuuuuuuuck.
I am also listening to a Pandora station that I created. Somehow, Pandora has determined that my tastes include a song from the Disney version of "Beauty and the Beast". [sorry, for some reason, I can't italicize anything...grrr...] And to Pandora, I must say: YOU ARE RIGHT! Showtunes are pretty much an ace in the hole with DKM.
Ok-- I'm going to try to steal an hour of sleep before I have to get up and start the day.
