This is my 118th post!
There are times in my life when I wish that I had someone next to me, ready to hand me a tall and refreshing glass of Shut the Fuck Up. These are the occasions when I tell a story that isn't mine, or maybe let my predilection for telling a good story overpower my predilection for being honest, and I look back and think, 'Dana Katharine, you were ill-advised to have the power of speech at that moment". Otherwise, I really have enjoyed this little corner of the blogosphere [a term I hope I never use ever again] because it's an STFU-Free Zone. I have total autonomy. Whether or not it's apparent, I am fairly self-censoring, but that practice is solely for my own comfort. If I thought that I'd be more fulfilled by writing about the intimate details of my life, I absolutely would. But, consider one of the less-awful episodes of Grey's Anatomy when Dr. Shepherd performs neurosurgery on a girl who has an acute blushing disorder. The patient finds Shepherd attractive, so just saying his name makes her face blush cherry-red. She can't keep any secrets because her feelings are etched across her cheeks at the drop of a hat. It really makes me grateful for the simple gift that there are things in my life that are just mine. I've been told that I have a wall around me, that I'm possessive and defensive, that there's a disconnect between the genuine DKM and the one that is better known. Here's the thing: yep. Agreed. Deal with it. No apologies or explanations.
That reminds me, please watch this. If you've already seen it, then just enjoy. It's 2 years old, somewhat irrelevant, but still awesome.

I have work scheduled for the next week or so, which is awesome, and I decided to be a good kid and prepare food to bring for lunches. I cooked the HELL out of a pasta dish tonight. I will be posting the recipe soon...it needs a bit of tweaking. Spoiler alert: turkey bacon is involved. BOOM.
