It is not even 11pm, and I am in bed, ready for a good night's sleep. VICTORY!
I watched an episode of that new series, Who Do You Think You Are? on NBC tonight. Hmm. I like the concept, for sure. Hearing these great stories of genealogy revealed, and having celebrities physically track down their ancestry-- I'm on board. But, a) the segments are way too short, b) the different steps that the subject takes along the way seem so staged, and c) it's like a giant commercial for Ancestry.com! I would love to see this show in the hands of a different network. NBC seems to have some pretty serious ADD-- or at least, they are trying to develop ADD in their viewers. Aside from their Thursday night primetime line-up, it seems like content is really lacking. Where are the rich, developed stories?
Ok-- being in my bed and staying awake is no longer advisable...or possible. Happy Friday!
